The Kersjes Vioolbeurs 2019 has been awarded to Hawijch Elders. This scholarship of the prestigious Kersjes Fonds is awarded annually to an outstanding young talented Dutch violinist (or violinist living in the Netherlands), enabling to study abroad.
Quote from the jury report: “Hawijch is a natural violin talent; her smooth play and intense musicality make her a young, highly promising violinist of the highest category.”
